Dundee wants to be at the heart of the Scottish business community. It is a city that is going places with a drive and resourcefulness to ensure its goals are reached. Dundee has already enjoyed major success, such as with the environmental upgrade of its central pedestrianised area; the building of the award-winning Overgate Shopping Centre; the development of the student campuses at Dundee and Abertay Universities; the creation of a new Cultural Quarter; and the establishment of high quality residential communities throughout the city.

However, Dundee is not resting on its laurels – the Dundee Vision goes much further.

The waterfront project is part of that story as the city bids to move to that next level with a three kilometre riverside setting for a new urban quarter that will link the city centre to the Tay Estuary. Work has been under way for several years and the area is already attracting major investment with a new railway station expected to be formed within a couple of years.

Being part of the business community in Dundee means being welcomed into an exciting new beginning for the city in general. Already widely considered the best small city in Scotland, the area now wants to expand and make sure it is known far and wide as one of the most forward-thinking business communities in the country and as one of the most exciting and inspirational places to live and work.
